Works of mercy
A terrible tragedy occured in fall of 1998 in Zakarpatska region. As a result of continual rains torrential flood descended upon the villages situated at the foot of mountains.  A volunteer, who worked at the soup kitchen, shared: " I was registering those who were coming to us. It was strange when even clean and tidy people would come and I could scent a strong smell of acetone. And after they had some food the smell would disappear. Later I found out that it was a smell of gastric juice, which is emitted during a long and enforced starvation ..." This tiny heart is grateful for your help. For him diapers are very essential. The things that the orphanage could not give to the children during the time of economy crisis, were given by the people with selfless hearts.
