It is He who reveals the secret things; changes the times and the seasons, He removes kings and raises up kings. He has His plan for everyone... One day Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev, the head of the Soviet state claimed publicly, and as always, in a provoking manner, that by the1980’s, television would show the only remaining Christian. But God had another plan for this huge country... Nowadays people rarely mention Khrushchev. There is no USSR on the map today... And it was under those terms that Christians were seen on television. Early in the 1990’s the central TV station of Soviet television began to widely air the Superbook animated cartoon serial, which was created by CBN, and is based on biblical stories. When they received the first million letters from TV viewers within just four weeks it became obvious that: This country wanted to know about God! This country was searching for God! This country was waiting … Then the Lord turned to Pat Robertson, the founder of CBN and said: "The time has come to act ". We took these words as our slogan, and our task became "To bring the Good News to Every Nation". For this purpose we have chosen two paths of our work: telling people about God, about having relationship with Him, and communicating with people through television we decided to unite those who wanted to know God, and to teach them to listen to Him, and enable them to teach others. And when “the earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea”, we will consider our goal to be accomplished. Every person works on his own field. But we work on God’s field. God has called us. God opens possibilities before us. We sow God’s Word in people’s heart and this springs up faith. “Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest" – Jesus speaks to us – and millions of people who wrote us confirm His words. The harvest truly is great, but “the laborers are few ". And this motivates us to pray to God that He would send His workers and to involve other believers throughout the world. Please, join us! There is never a poor harvest in God’s field, and as stewards we are required to be faithful to Him who entrusted us this great work. God bless you abundantly.
